For the 2024/2025 school year, we’re excited to introduce a passionate and dedicated executive team, committed to guiding the undergraduate class towards achieving their goals. We’re looking forward to an exciting year ahead and can’t wait to see you at our events!

President
Michael Vento
Michael is a fourth-year student majoring in Political Science and minoring in Law & Society. He is from Rhode Island, in the United States. He has been a UBC Pre-Law member for three years and this is his second year on the executive board. Besides Pre-Law and school, Michael works part time at a family and estate litigation law firm in downtown Vancouver. He is excited for all the opportunities that UBC Pre-Law will provide for students this year and cannot wait for the Association’s big Wine and Cheese Night. Michael would like to eventually work in-house for a corporation. A fun fact about Michael is that he likes to watch criminal psychology videos for educational purposes (despite having no interest in Criminal Law).

Vice President

Right now, Ava is in Copenhagen, Denmark, studying Environmental Science abroad and has been spending her time exploring museums, embracing the Danish “hygge”, swimming in harbours, riding her bike, drinking overpriced matcha, and doing field work for her courses!

At the moment she is studying for the LSAT with hopes of one day becoming an International Lawyer. A few fun facts about Wilvianne: She was born in Namibia, the same country where Angelina Jolie had her kids, but was raised in Angola until the age of eight.
